This isn’t really a toy and I sort of bought it by accident. I was rushing and didn’t really read the description very well. My 4 year old has had a dollhouse for a few years and when we moved I packed up all the furniture in a box and never saw it again. She never really gave it a lot of attention to begin with but I did want to replace the furniture and plastic fisher price dollhouse furniture can get pretty expensive when you want to furnish every room. So I saw this for and thought ok, I can do some assembling if it will save me 0.

First off, it is a puzzle. And I don’t believe that it is intended to be played with. But if you buy some paint and glue and have about 5-6 hours to spend on it then it can become a pretty good toy. First I assembled it then I got some tacky glue (shop around for some craft glue that dries in a decent time) and glued all the joints. After that it was extremely durable, I was very surprised. Then I bought some craft paint, mixed my colors, painted it and voila!! 35 pieces of dollhouse furniture for less than including glue and paint.

Now, if you dont glue this it wont even stay together if it’s just sitting there. But after its been glued it is just as durable as something you’d buy in a store. In fact the only way to break it is if you actually crush it by stepping on it or something, which would break even a plastic toy. I’m not even a very crafty person and this was easy but it does take a lot of patience. The really cool thing is that you can customize it with any color you want to make it. I also sewed up some little blankets and pillows for the beds.

My daughter has been playing with this almost non stop since Christmas Eve and the only thing that broke is a chair that my husband stepped on. She actually plays with it more now than she did when we first bought it and had all the furniture that was designed for it.

It is very small though. The only dolls that fit it are polly pocket size dolls, which are about 4″ maybe. But everything fits in the dollhouse very well. It’s not too crowded so when she’s playing she isnt constantly knocking things over. I believe we have a fisher price loving family dollhouse and I think the dolls that came with it were about 8″ tall. Luckily my daughter has several polly pocket dolls and accessories so it all worked out well.

So if you want to furnish a dollhouse and save money this is the way to go. It does require some time and patience but its well worth it.

I bought my 3 yr old a fold out wooden dollhouse and didn’t want to spend 0 on furniture. She’s 3, so the chances that she would break something are high. I decided to take a chance on this puzzle furniture and see what happened. I assembled it in about 4 hrs and used a hot glue gun to glue it together. Once glued it is very stable, but you will probably have to do some sanding on it to get doors to close on the wardrobe piece and some legs to not wobble etc… I needed more sandpaper than what they provided, but it was pretty good as is for the most part. I then painted each room setting a different color and added some little pillows and blankets that I put together in matching colors and voila!!!! Durable furniture that is inexpensive and perfect for little kids! If she breaks a piece or two, I won’t be mad because the whole set cost below to ship. If you feel creative and have a bit of time, I recommend this set.

This Sectional Sofa looks much more expensive than it really is. The cushions are like a memory foam, very comfortable. The color is fantastic. I bought a few other teal and brown shaded pillows which adds a little extra polish to the set. If you are short on space but want additional seating, this works nicely. Easy to assemble, I am a female and did it by myself.

The couch arrived in 3 LARGE cardboard boxes and required some fairly easy assembly. The construction of the furniture is rather cheap and mine came somewhat dinged up, but nothing visible once it was assembled. For the price, it was a good purchase and it will serve its purpose. Not the most comfortable thing in the world but once broken in im hoping it will feel a little better.

Again, it looks decent, and isnt too hard to assemble, decent piece of furniture for a man cave/kids room/bonus room – it is fairly cheap quality but you get what you pay for.

I wouldn’t recommend this for a living room or somewhere you want quality furniture but if you just need functional cheap pieces than this is a good purchase!

I have had this product for a week now and am very happy with it. We have been looking for a long time for a platform bed with drawers and most of the contemporary sleek designs would costs in the thousands. And honestly we like the look and where the drawers were located on this bed the best. We were definitely concerned about the quality of the bed, understanding the price we took a chance and bought the bed. We couldn’t be happier. It arrived sooner then expected and we built it in that same day. I would definitely suggest taking your time when building it. I have learned from past experience that anything made from particle board and not solid woods you only have one chance to get it right. I build it slowly and with now problems. The beds has been very sturdy and solid. The corners are sharp, but they are corners it comes with the look. We haven’t even been close to bumping into them. We love it and are very happy with our choice in this bed.

i don’t see what the problem is with this bed frame. it went together in about two hours at a casual pace. used a little gorilla glue from the advice of another review. nice bed,. drawers are silent and sturdy i would recommend for the price

Disappointed in how long it took to get delivered. Ordered on 11-21 and did not get delivered until 12-11 plus delivery was 1 1/2 hrs late. There was a defect with the chaise lounge (wood cracked by one of the screw holes). Does require assembly. Like the furniture, very comfy. Disappointed with delivery time and defect.

at first i gave them 4 stars but its been a whole month and i still havent received my refund for shipping!!!

First I’d like to announce once again that the shipping company used by Visiondecor is horrible (Baileys)! Not only was it late; they also came to my city just twice a month. (im in cheyenne, wy the capitol of the state btw) i ordered it on 29 Jan 2010 and received it today on 11 Mar 2010!

the furniture itself is beautiful! i made my rating based off of this alone. (Visiondecor just needs a new shipping company). they also promised to refund me the cost of shipping which was 8 for the hassle. I paid about 0 for my couch here on Amazon and as soon as i did they raised the price to 9! i wouldnt pay that much for it! the material and color is nice! the chaise is reversible which is a good thing except for the fact that the two pieces of the actual sectional (the chaise and the couch part) dont connect! and im guessing that it is for decorative reasons! but i have a few ideas to solve that. hopefully it works!

putting it together alone took me about 1.5-2 hours! really easy once you figure out the instructions. which were pics only and small ones at that! but it shows both the right chaise and the left chaise instructions! it is a little stiff but with use i believe it will become more comfortable!

the shipment is 3 boxes total! the ottoman, the chaise and the actual couch part all in their own box with the pillows stuffed in the bases! the color is exactly as seen in the picture and no sure if this is real leather (i dont think so) but its not so bad)! hope this helps!

I was worried about ordering a table online without actually seeing it in a store first but this table is everything I hoped it would be. We were looking for the perfect gathering table that could also double as a dining table since our place is limited in size and this fit the bill perfectly. It seats eight comfortably and is great for company. The assembly wasn’t difficult but does take a little time, especially since you have to build all the chairs too. The Lazy Susan is very modern and looks gorgeous. The storage in the bottom is great for wine and stemware. It is a heavy table and solidly built. Make sure you have a few people to help you carry it inside. I would highly recommend this table to anyone. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because of all the assembly required.

*Configuration*

If seating 8 people is an important criterion for you, then this table is not going to do it. I was concerned about the size and seating from the pictures before we bought this set, but now its confirmed. There’s no place on the square table to accommodate 2 people to each side without elbows knocking and plates, glasses set so close to each other, you could eat off the other’s plate. On corner seats, its not possible to sit without one person’s knees poking another’s thigh. The most you can realistically seat is 6 people if you do 2 chairs on two of the sides and 1 chair each on the remaining two sides. With that configuration, you can move the single chairs to the middle and spread out the 2 chair side a little bit so that elbows and knees are not bumping into each other. But that makes the whole setting looks somehow asymmetric not to mention the single plate in the center is really close to the lazy susan in the center.

The center lazy susan is a tempered glass round flush with the surface of the table but positioned on bearings such that it can rotate. Its virtually useless because you cannot set the plate correctly enough so that when it rotates it does not get jammed in the wood circumference (there’s a 2 millimeter gap between the wood and glass plate). A slight push and the glass plate closes this gap on one side and cannot rotate. You would have to press hard on the glass to make it rotate and it makes a noise as the plate rubs along the wood.

The square shape makes it good to put some food in the middle of the table, but creates unusable space in the corners which is wasted. Using this set with just 4 chairs might be ok, but then why would you spend all this money to leave 4 of the 8 chairs supplied out?

*Quality*

The quality and finish are very good. I like the deep coffee brown and the smooth and nice finish. The wood is heavy and does not feel cheap. The seat pads could have been better. The table top surface is definitely soft and very susceptible to scratches.

*Assembly*

The whole set was shipped to me on a wooden shipping pallet, wrapped in plastic wrap and tied down with flat plastic cords. It obviously weighs a ton and the delivery guy unloaded it off the truck and pulled into my garage using a pallet dolly. If you live in an apartment or don’t have a first floor garage – good luck! I separated all the items and carried boxes inside individually. (There’s 2 chairs to a box – so 4 boxes and 1 big box for the center table). The center table cannot be lifted by one person.

Setup for the main table wasn’t too bad on the whole but the diagrams could have been better. There was no labeling on the pieces so you could fix things together but oriented incorrectly for the next step. I would do 2 pieces and then when time came to join intermediate pieces, I would realize they would not fit together they way I had set them up. The center table is assembled upside down and again you’ll need two people to flip it back up after assembly is done.

Fixing the chairs was not hard but laborious. I did not do all of them in a single sitting. Wish fixing the seat pads was easier. There are no grooves in the pad. You just have to hold them down and screw into the soft wood in the bottom.

*Overall Value*

Bought them here on Amazon through mo-sh-ya and it was six hunderd ninety nine. They dropped the price to six hundred twenty within 2 weeks of my purchase. No response on a refund for the difference.

Having bought it, we are using the table in the 6 chair configuration. Its not too bad for the price and given how hard it has been to find something contemporary in this price range. If I could go back in time, I would definitely pay a little bit more and get something else.

This has got to be the worst dresser ever made. I purchased this for my son because he was only 2 and I didn’t want to spend too much money. In the picture, it looks like a nice dresser. I didn’t have to worry about my son messing it up, it was a terrible product to begin with. It is made of particle board, and scratches and nicks extremely easy. To put the dresser together wasn’t too hard, but the bottoms of the drawer continuously fall out, and I am having to pull the drawer out, put the bottom back on, and put it back in. I would NEVER buy this product again!!!

This seems to be a well-designed dresser, and it is fairly solid when put together. Seems durable enough to last several years – time will tell. Assembly took me just under two hours by myself (although the instructions recommend two people). Everything fit together perfectly, with no trouble. The instructions were not exactly great, merely adequate for the task. The chrome handles are very nice, and the faux wood finish is much better than I’d anticipated. I’m not crazy about the plastic sliders and runners for the drawers, but they fit together well and seem smooth opening and closing. Overall, this is a good value for the money, and I’m happy enough that I will probably be purchasing the matching nightstand soon.

I needed a new table to fit into our small kitchen breakfast area. This table is wonderful! It is a heavy, solid wood table that definitely holds up to scratches and dents. I have two boys, a 3-year-old and a 2-year-old. They have definitely put this table to the test and it still looks great. This table is a very dark espresso color, with a matte finish. I just love it!

After desperately searching for an affordable armoire for our daughter’s nursery, I came across this piece from South Shore. When it arrived I was so happy to see that all the pieces were there and not damaged. My husband and I put it together in less than two hours with no problems at all. It looked absolutely beautiful when we finished and it was perfect for her room.

I loved all the shelves available for storing clothes and displaying items. It’s the perfect size (not too tall or wide) so I have things displayed on top as well. Everything seems extremely sturdy and the drawers are much stronger than I thought they would be. I know the color is ‘pure white’ and I wasn’t sure exactly what that meant when we purchased it, but it matches my daughter’s white crib perfectly. I have her nursery decorated in a shabby chic theme and this was a wonderful addition—I would totally recommend this product. I am extremely satisfied!

The only thing I did not realize when we bought this was that there is no latch or magnet for the door. There are small clear rubber blocks inside the frame so when the door closes it doesn’t bang but it might get interesting when she starts moving around and discovers she can open it herself!

LOve this once put together. One warning, make sure you read the dimensions before buying, its shorter than you would think looking at the pictures-about 5 ft tall. Many parts and pieces, takes a few hours to get together, instructions are easy though. The drawer knobs dont twist on all the way but I bought cuter pick crystal ones from target that i like way better anyway. Overall I recommend for a low cost piece of baby furniture, sturdy once together.

The couch sits 1 child comfortably. Two children is tight, but as long as the 2 kids don’t mind touching slightly, it won’t be a problem.

The construction is okay. For a small piece of furniture and the price, I would have expected something much more durable. My child hops on it and falls into it and he can feel the wood frame underneath the cushioning. The arm rests have no padding on the topside, so resting on the armrests hurts because the wood frame digs into kids.

If you’ve ever shopped for furniture at a discount place, then you know how they cut corners to make cheaper furniture. The manufacturer has cut all the corners for this piece. Some extra padding in the back, the armrests, and the seat would have made this a more durable product without adding to the cost. Actually, I probably wouldn’t have noticed all the other shortcuts taken to manufacture this item if the armrests, at the least, were properly cushioned and did not hurt to lean on.

Item is cute and looks good, but only functional if your child will remain seated in an upright position. Laying on and horsing around does not got well with this item.

Couch could have also been a couple inches longer to better accomodate 2 children sitting.

Based on construction, I would have been willing to pay $[...] for this item, half of what I actually paid. I guess children’s play furniture has high mark-ups, too.
