I’ve been searching for the right “baby” book for quite a while to give my son as a gift for his birthday. After reading the reviews I decided to purchase this one and was not disappointed. I like the design and its size, it has ample room for writing descriptive memories without going overboard. There’s plenty of space for pictures, clippings and other memories. Most of the book covers baby’s first year but there are pages at the back for birthday pictures up to year four.

This baby book is absolutely beautiful. This purchase was for my third born child. He was born in November and was originally to be a twin, but was only born into the world as a singleton. This book is special because it’s as beautiful as he is and it compliments their celestial theme of stars and moons. The book is gorgeous on the inside with cute accents to the pages with graphics that go with the theme of the cover. It’s a worth while purchase and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

I searched for a memory book for a long time, and this one is just perfect. Besides being pretty (a modern take on traditional designs, clean enough that’s not too frilly for my taste) it has room for a lot of interesting information about the world when your baby was born. And of course it has all the usual space for recording baby’s family tree, first pictures, first tooth, foods the baby likes, track weight and height, illnesses, first holiday, birthday, etc. I’m sure my daughter will treasure it many years from now.

I am a grandparent with one grandson and now a granddaughter on the way. I wish there would have been a book like this available when my daughter was born. This books covers everything from pregnancy to immunizations to the first day of school. Several nice thick pages at the end of book for scrap booking your favorite memories. You can’t beat this book and at this price you’ll be smiling all the way to the baby shower. The family will love you for this contribution for the new addition of the family. This book is so inclusive it even has a page dedicated to the cost of goods at the time of the babies birth. (ex-”cost of a gallon of gas”) If you want the baby record that is the most insightful and sturdily made than this is the book for you. If you need one for a boy Carter’s has a very similar version of this book for the little guy too.

C.R. Gibson Bound Keepsake Memory Book of Baby’s First 5 Years, Jack Reviews

We purchased this ourselves for our firstborn. We bought it for about which seemed to be about more than books we could find in our local stores, including walmart, babies r us and halmark. I just hated everything else. Either it was too commercial (ex: a winnie the pooh book) or it didn’t have specific pages I wanted. I wanted something with a classic look to it rather than something too cartoony. CR Gibson has another version of this that is spiral bound if you like to add large things like a scrapbook but this version has been ok for me just adding photos and clippings as well as a few bulky items like hospital bracelets.

The book appears to be good quality and is bound well. You can take out the generic photo from the front of the book and add one of your own babe. The majority of the pages are for a specific purpose, but if you find that you don’t have anything to put there you can just cover up the leading text with a photo pretty easily so it does not look like a blank spot. There are about half a dozen pages in the back where you can put anything that doesn’t fit well elsewhere.

I wish it hadn’t cost so much more than the other books I found but it was worth it to have something we would enjoy for years to come.

I was a little reluctant to buy this book online without seeing the inside pages but I am so glad I did. It’s just adorable. The artwork on the inside has toy animals in soft, but not pastel, colors and polka dots in the background. There is room for photos and lots of great themed pages. Can’t go wrong with this one.
