I wish I had this for my daughter six years ago. Just like with my daughter, my new son (3 weeks old) doesn’t like to be put down and lay flat on his back in his pack and play or crib. This sleeper is PERFECT! He’s been sleeping in it for the past two days. I got the dishes done with two hands and I slept so much better last night without him in the bed (and the worry that goes with that).

The sleeper is in the reclined sitting position that you naturally hold a baby in. He doesn’t even notice that I’m not holding him anymore. And while he’s cozy and snug, there isn’t any safety concern with breathing space.

This is easy to put together (I did it by myself) and light weight enough to tote around the house.

I love this product and recommend it to anyone with a newborn that doesn’t like to be put down!!

I’ve had this product for three nights. Each night, our 7.5 week old son has slept more soundly and for increasing longer periods. Prior to buying this, we were using an Arm’s Reach mini-cosleeper and he was waking up every night at 3:30am and 6 am. The first night in this he slept until 4:30am, then 5:30 and last night he slept from 9:30pm until 6am and after eating for 40 mins, went back to sleep until 10am. Woohooo!

Our co-sleeper worked well for our daughter (who was sleeping through the night at 8 weeks) and is another product I would highly recommend. However, our son seems to have more congestion and needs to be elevated to sleep well. We propped him up in the co-sleeper but he still tossed and turned and snorted and coughed, frequently waking himself up. I’ve always been disappointed with the products on the market for elevating sleeping babies, especially since the most effective options are not approved for sleeping. So, I was very excited to see this on display at Babies R Us. I did’t buy it right away. I checked on Amazon and the price was higher and it was not eligible for Prime shipping, so I went back to Babies R’ Us.

I should also add that we are still swaddling our son while he sleeps in this. He’s such a big and strong baby that the only swaddle blanket that works is the Miracle Blanket (another highly recommended baby product). With this blanket I can leave his legs out and still use the harness. It’s not really necessary but it’s better than having him sleep on the buckle. Without the swaddle his sudden arm movements disturb him. I expect however, that eventually we’ll use this without the swaddle.

The design of this product is very simple but it’s perfect for what we needed. I don’t know why it took so long to come to market. I can’t think of a better recommendation than a sleeping baby.

A few other points:

-it rocks very smoothly and easily

-has mesh on the side to allow for air flow

-seems comfortable, even for my big boy (he’s already 12+ lbs)

-is very light

-seems very stable

-is lower that our bed (a normal queen mattress with frame & boxspring) but its easy to look over and check on the baby from bed

I love these wipes! They aren’t too thick and the odor is nice and gently. Some of the other wipes had a strong odor, but this wipe is great. I also love that it came with another container! If I don’t need it to replace the wipes, I use my extra containers for crayons, markers, match box cars, and legos!

Oddly enough I have found the size 4 Baby-Dry diapers to be of better quality than the size 3 were. I almost prefer them to the size 3 Cruisers. The size 4 go up higher in the back and seem to control leaks quite well.

We have really enjoyed using these wipes for our daughter. We carry a large package with us when we travel, and the wipes stay moist for weeks after being opened, as long as you reclose them with the adhesive strip. But there is the problem….

Just received a box of these wipes, and Pampers has decided to remove the reclosing feature, meaning that once open, you have to put them into a container. Feh – this is messy, and the wipes are now more exposed to air and will probably dry out. So now we cut open a slot and fashion a closure strap from a piece of packing tape (when we just want the package of wipes without the container.) Pampers: By cutting costs, you may have lost a customer – we’ll look at other, more convenient brands now.

These wipes are great. They are very soft and don’t irritate my daughter’s skin, who is prone to eczema.

They also work in the wipe warmers (when you pull one out, it pulls another one up through the slot like a tissue. The Huggies wipes I tried did not do that, and you had to fish around for a new wipe each time.)

Each package is wrapped in plastic with a resealable strip that holds up to repeated use. The generic wraps I’ve tried often are packaged in thinner plastic that rips when you try to pull open the adhesive cover, or the adhesive loses its stickiness before the last wipe is used.

I keep a package in every room my baby plays in. If I had one complaint it is that 192 wipes is really overkill for the diaper bag, so I put some in a separate container or plastic bag, but that’s the same with all brands I’ve tried (and it’s the perfect amount of wipes for the wipe warmer, which I recommend for anyone who needs to change a diaper in the middle of the night, or whose baby doesn’t like to get changed).

We had the older version of the infant-to-toddler rocker for my firstborn, and we bought the new one for the second. I prefer the older version. It was of sturdier construction, metal bars instead of plastic. It also sat further back so that my baby was kind of kicked back and nestled in. Sure, it only had two settings, either stationary with the bar or rocking, but all the variety of the new one is unnecesary, all these different pieces for each side, four mini-kickstands under each leg, all of which seem to magically move whenever I move the chair anywhere. The plastic parts are supposed to snap into place, but they also snap out much too easily. The old chair … not as many adjustments, just the kickstand-like bar, and it stayed put. The angle of the new one is awkward. My son is now nearly five months old, trying to sit up but not yet there, so he keeps pitching forward. The angle of the chair almost propels him, so he’ll fold forward. The old chair kept him back more. It was also impossible for him to slide out the old chair. In the new one, he kicks a lot, so he winds up shimmying down to the edge. The only big improvement with the new chair is a swiveling toy arm instead of the annoying toy bar that had to be popped in and out constantly.

I don’t hate the new chair, though it might sound like it here. I just have the old one for comparison and prefer the less-is-more approach.

This is a wonderful product. Bouncer, rocker, infants, todlers, feeding chair, TV chair, sleeping. This handles everything. We have 6 mo. old twins and a 2 1/2 year old. We can use this rocker for everything and it packs up for travel as well. We have many similar items in the house and this one tops them all. Don’t let the low price fool you. If we had bought one of these things before, we would not have bought so many others. We would have just stuck with a few of these ones. We will be buying more in the future for gifts we like it so much.

I have been through a ton of BPA free bottles and this is by FAR the best one yet. My baby loves these bottles and they clean up great. Yes, there are many parts but clean up is a breeze! I would MOST definitely recommend these!!!

I have used a lot of different kinds of bottles on my three children. I lived in a small town when I had my first child 7.5 yrs ago, and the Playtex nursers were not available to me. I did use them with my second child and when my third baby was born, I knew that I wanted to use these when I gave her a bottle. She was totally breastfed but I kept her used to the bottle so that her daddy and grandparents could feed her also. I too tried the Avent brand of bottles and to say the least was rather disapointed! They leaked all over everything! I like the Playtex nursers because of the nipple variety. It is much easier to buy the next size or kind of nipple then to buy a whole new set of bottles. I like the fact that you can push all the air out of the bottle before feeding the baby. I also have to say that I like the bags better than the drop-ins because the measurement markings are clearer on them. If you are going to be giving your baby a bottle at all, I would highly recomend skipping all the new fancy bottles and go with something that has been proven to work well in reducing air intake while your baby eats! Go with Playtex nursers! They work great!!

We were using the single feeding bottles we got from the hospital and noticed how much air the baby was getting from the bubbles forming in the bottle during feedings. We also had a hard time getting her to eat more and she was starting to lose weight. We switched over to the Playtex system after a recommendation from our sister-in-law and we have had a lot less problems w/gassiness occuring during feedings. The drop-in liners are easier to use than the other liners and seem to measure out better than the other liners as well. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is thinking of bottle feeding their baby.
